About Me

Shawn SantosIn my current role as TSIA‘s Senior Director of Programs & Community and Social Media Research Practice Lead, I focus on social media strategies for technology companies, program portfolio management, market research, on- and off-line publications, digital media, community building and producing insightful content and tools for the technology services industry.

Previously, I worked as Product Marketing Manager of Global Services at Agilent Technologies and have held several management roles in the wine industry, including Program Manager for leading wine consultancy Enologix and Product Manager for Global Vintage Research. I have also held several notable consulting engagements in the wine, technology, and marketing agency industries in addition to my early career as an Oenologist / Winemaker in both California and France.

I obtained my BA in Molecular Biology with a minor in Wine Chemistry from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and have certifications in Executive Leadership and Project Management from University of California at Berkeley and Business Management from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

In 2008 I established Hope Animal Network, a non-profit organization focused on advancing animal welfare in developing countries.

My personal interests include motorcycles, wine, great writers, sailing, cooking, chess, muay thai, boxing and jiu jitsu, travel, surfing, animals, the great outdoors and spending time with my wife, friends and family (including our two Weimaraners and one Mexican mutt).
